Ingredients
7oz.200g Bunch of asparagus spears (thinner spears are better)
3.5oz.100g thinly sliced Serrano ham
2tablespoonsof Extra Virgin Olive Oil *
½teaspoonof fresh cracked black pepper
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F/220°C. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
Cut 1-2 inches (2.5-5 cm) from the base ends of the asparagus spears.
7 oz. 200g Bunch of asparagus spears (thinner spears are better)
Wrap a small handful of asparagus spears with a slice of Serrano ham. Roll on the diagonal to cover most of the asparagus spears. Place each wrapped bundle of spears on the baking tray, ensuring they do not touch.
3.5 oz. 100g thinly sliced Serrano ham
Drizzle lightly with olive oil and season with some cracked black pepper. No salt is required as the ham is salty enough.
2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil *, ½ teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper
Bake for 10 minutes in the middle shelf of the oven. Remove from oven and flip each bundle and return to the oven. Bake for another 5 minutes. The ham should be slightly crispy once done.
Remove from the oven and it’s ready to serve. This dish is best eaten while still warm.
