Jamón Serrano and Manchego Cheese Bocadillo

Jamón Serrano and Manchego cheese bocadillo is perhaps the best sandwich you’ll ever try. It is Simple, easy to make, and absolutely loaded with flavor. This recipe requires no special cooking experience or equipment and can be made in around 5 minutes!

Equipment

  • A large serrated bread knife
  • Chopping board

Ingredients

  • 1 fresh baguette
  • 6 oz 170g thinly sliced Jamón Serrano
  • 3.5 oz 100g thinly sliced Manchego cheese
  • 1 jar wood fire-roasted piquillo peppers sliced
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

Step 1 - Prepare baguette

  • Slice your baguette lengthways, then slice it into 8-inch / 20 cm long portions per serving. Drizzle olive oil over the inside of the baguette, and season lightly with a pinch of salt (to taste).

Step 2 - Build sandwich

  • First, arrange some thin slices of Jamón Serrano on the bottom half of the baguette.
