Jamón Serrano and Manchego cheese bocadillo is perhaps the best sandwich you’ll ever try. It is Simple, easy to make, and absolutely loaded with flavor. This recipe requires no special cooking experience or equipment and can be made in around 5 minutes!

Ingredients you’ll need 

    (makes 2 sandwiches)

    • 1 fresh baguette
    •  6oz (170g) thinly sliced Jamón Serrano
    •  3.5oz (100g) thinly sliced Manchego cheese
    •  1 jar wood fire-roasted piquillo peppers, sliced 
    •  Extra Virgin Olive Oil * (to taste)
    • Salt (to taste)

    Equipment needed

    • A large serrated bread knife
    • Chopping board

    How to make the perfect Jamón Serrano and Manchego Cheese Bocadillo

    Step 1 – Prepare baguette 

    Slice your baguette lengthways, then slice it into 8-inch / 20 cm long portions per serving. Drizzle olive oil over the inside of the baguette, and season lightly with a pinch of salt (to taste).

    Step 2 – Build sandwich

    First, arrange some thin slices of Jamón Serrano on the bottom half of the baguette.

    Next, add a few thin slices of Manchego cheese, then the piquillo peppers, and serve!
