How to Make Summer Salad with Melon, Mozzarella, and Serrano Ham
Ingredients
- 100g Serrano Ham
- 300g Melon
- A handful of rocket (or your favorite green)
- ½ red onion, finely sliced
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 50g Mozzarella Cheese (optional)
Equipment
- Wooden cutting board
- Chef knife
- Small glass bowl
- Microplane
- Whisk
- Serving platter
- Salad serving spoons
Instructions
- Lay a bed of salad greens and top with some finely sliced red onion.
- Cut the melon into bite-size pieces and add them on top of the salad.
- Add the serrano ham.
- Tear the mozzarella into small strips and add to the salad.
- Add the fresh lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and pepper to a small bowl, mix well then dress the salad right before serving.
- Use a microplane to top the salad with some lemon zest, season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve. Enjoy!
